We’re back home after a 2 week work trip to the US National Office. A week of meetings, with members of the IOC, US and Canadian National office, went extremly well and some real progress was made for strategic plans and futures of the national offices.

Lynda and I were able to take a quick trip down to Orlando to surprise friends and catch up with some future staff who are almost ready to make the move to the UK. Then back to Indiana and a couple of days off to go into Chicago. At the end of the 2 weeks Lynda took part in the Emerge conference held in South Bend that was hosted by the NLI women’s development team.

A great trip, that was very busy but also very successful.

We have arrived in downtown Chicago today for a brief overnight stay and then we fly back to London tomorrow. All of the meetings are over and we will get a few hours tomorrow to sight see before hitting the drama that is Chicago airport, and then arrive early Wednesday morning at Heathrow which is in chaos at the moment, so that should be fun.
