We head off to Spain for a few days break. Travelling with us is our Missions Director from Australia. We are looking forward to the warmer climate and potentially a swim in the mediterranean, Tapas and flamenco? Hopefully the rain in Spain will fall mainly on France? no entiendo?’

We are getting ready for this years Eurosummit conference, to be held in Bratislava, Slovakia. NLI will host and sponsor over 40 Eastern European leaders for the week as well as representatives from Australia, USA, Canada and New Zealand. The last conference held in 2003 was my first introduction to an NLI event, I remember it was one of the best events I’d ever attended. This year will, I’m sure, be just as good. We still have so much to do to get ready for it….. yargh………

I’m sitting here at 4.30 am waiting to be picked up for the 2 hour ride to the airport. Remembering all the things that needed to be done prior to this trip but weren’t! All I’ll need is access to the internet and I can complete most of the outstanding tasks. What did we do before the internet? Has it made life easier or more complex? What do you think?
