back in the uk

Published by Scott under Uncategorized

We are back in the UK and had a long and interesting trip back. The important thing is that we arrived safely and are starting to feel a little closer to normal after the time zone change. Daniel survived on his own and didn’t burn the house down, so all in all a positive trip :)

el presidente

Published by Scott under Japan,Travel

We met the president of the company that Toni works for last nite. We spent some time with him at the company headquarters then went out for a meal together, it was great to be able to hear about the many humanitarian projects that he is involved in as well. It was interesting going to a Japanese resturant that specialised in tofu!! I didn’t realise that you could make so many different dishes from the stuff?

japan

Published by Scott under Family,Japan,Travel

Lynda and I fly to Japan this weekend to visit Toni our eldest daughter, she is working there teaching English. It will be my 7th or 8th trip to Japan and I’m looking forward to spending time in Tokyo again, it such a vibrant and interesting place. Unfortunately the cherry blossoms will be over I fear, I seem to miss them everytime I go? We will get to go to Mt Fuji though which I’m particuarly looking forward to.
