What an incredible year this has been for our Short Term Mission teams. Here are some facts & figures. These at least are the figures that we know about, the long term impact of these teams will be felt for many years, so thankyou to all who took part this year.
- 23 Teams from 6 nations sent on mission into Ukraine, Slovakia, Czech Republic, & UK.
- Over 9,000 people impacted in many different ways by this year’s teams.
- Over 6,500 students spoken to in lessons, lunch clubs & assemblies. Many of these students were given the ‘Book of Hope’ (a Bible translation in magazine format aimed specifically at children). The UK hosted 4 Book of Hope STM teams.
- Over 2,500 adults & children ministered to in hospitals, orphanages, ‘seniors’ centres, camps, sporting events, & outreach meetings.
- 131 first-time decisions to follow Christ. (69 adults & 62 kids)
- 5 Water baptisms & 3 young people filled with the Holy Spirit.
What an awesome opportunity these people have had to help make a lasting change for good in Europe. Next year we have a number of initiatives to see short term missions expand into many more countries throughout Europe. Check out the website for more info.
